Police and tax inspectors in Argentina has carried out a court ordered search at a casino in Rosario,which happens to be inside the hotel that FC Barcelona star, Lionel Messi will be getting married this weekend.
They have however denied that the search has anything to do with messi’s wedding.
The raid which took place on Wednesday at the city center hotel and casino complex in Rosario Argentina,was authorized by federal judge Marcelo Baylaque,because of an investigation of alleged tax evasion by owner Cristobal Lopez.
Carlos Vaudana,the regional director of the Federal Administration of Public Revenue,said that the search was only for the casino and that it has nothing to do with the hotel where the wedding will be taking place,and that it wont in any way affect the wedding.
He also said that they only came to seize video monitoring tapes of people who they believe received financial gains or earnings of more than $6,000 in daily winnings in 2015.
