The annual event which celebrates style trend setting individuals who defy the odds with their fashion styles held on Saturday August 19 at the Movenpick ambassador hotel Acrra Ghana.
As always some stars brought their A-game to the red carpet while some just left us wondering exactly the look they were trying to achieve. For an award which is centered on awarding styles and fashion, it most definitely was on fire even though we were disappointed with some looks.
We most certainly was expecting a wow look from media personality Toke Makinwa - the green dress didn't exactly give us what we wanted, of course the colour was perfect but it just sort of looked hmmm on her. Maybe the gold tubo dress she wore to the pre - party/nominees announcement party would have been better.
As we were left disappointed by some, we also were left amazed and wowed by others - Stephanie Okereke Linus wowed us with a very gorgeous and statement dress from Nigeria designer brand Enthyst fashion klinik. The statement black does it has never been so true in this regard.
