Patience Ozokwor Is A ‘No-Nonsense’ Mother-In-Law In Kunle Afolayan’s ‘Omugwo’

Patience Ozokwor who clocks 59 today, March 28th continues to thrill Nigerians as she featured in Kunle Afolayan’s latest movie, ‘Omugwo’.

Africa Magic Films and Golden Effects Pictures have released the trailer for Kunle Afolayan’s new film, Omugwo.

 It tells the story of Omotunde, a young civil engineer, married to Raymond an OAP (On-air Radio Personality), who has just given birth.

Coloured by their different cultural backgrounds, their mothers-in-law forcefully move in with the couple to perform the Igbo child care rite called, Omugwo.

But instead of relieving their children of the burden of childcare, the mothers’ rivalry complicates life for the young couple to comical effects

The film features Ayo Adesanya, Patience Ozokwor, Omowunmi Dada, Ken Erics and Christian Paul.

It will be released in cinemas nationwide on April 7, 2017.
