Prince William And Wife, Kate Are Expecting Their Third Child

Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are expecting their third child and it has been announced.

The Duchess, 35, is once again suffering severe morning sickness, like with her previous two pregnancies, and has been forced to cancel a royal engagement for medical treatment at home.

“Their royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child,” the palace said in its statement, adding, “The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

The statement continued,

“As with her previous two pregnancies, the duchess is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. Her royal highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road children’s centre in London today. The duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.”

This heartwarming news comes two years after the Duke and Duchess welcomed their second child, a baby girl, Princess Charlotte, in May 2015. Their first child, 4-year-old Prince George, is set to start school at the Thomas’s Battersea, south London.

Guardian UK adds that this baby will be the fifth in line to the throne, shoving the duke’s brother, Prince Harry, to the sixth place. And if the baby is a boy, he will come fourth, pushing his sister Charlotte behind, because males are more privileged than the females.

However, the world waits for this new baby, just like it did in the time of its siblings. Also, it is unclear when this child will be born, as news of its due date has yet to be made public.
