The Kensington Palace has just announced that Prince Charles of Wales will be walking bride-to-be Meghan Markle down the aisle.
The news had come through the official Twitter account of Kensington Palace after Meghan announced on Thursday that her father would not be able to attend her wedding, thereby not walking her down the aisle.
In the statement, it was confirmed that Meghan was the one to ask the Prince of Wales to do her the honor in which he accepted.
It said “Ms. Meghan Markle has asked His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales to accompany her down the aisle of the Quire of St. George’s Chapel on her Wedding Day. The Prince of Wales is pleased to be able to welcome Ms. Markle to The Royal Family in this way.”
