Award-winning media personality Tosyn Bucknor is dead.
The detail of her death is sketchy as at the time of this report but according to multiple reports, she passed away yesterday, November 19 at the age of 37.
Fondly referred to as Area Mama, the graduate of the University of Lagos worked with Top Radio for 7 years before joining Inspiration FM.
Her death is coming one year after the death of her dad, Segun Bucknor. The late Tosyn Bucknor is one of the daughters of late Segun Bucknor, a late Nigerian musician and journalist active during the 1960s and 1970s.
Asides being an On-Air-Personality, she was also an actress, radio presenter, singer, songwriter, and writer and has featured in soaps like, Now We Are Married, Tinsel and a couple of others.
In her lifetime, she won several awards including the Nigerian Broadcaster’s award, Future Awards, Exquisite Lady of the Year among others.
