Best On The Runway At The Lagos Fashion And Design Week - Day1

The much awaited fashion event is finally here *yipee!* - the #HeinekenLFDW2016 started yesterday and will last for 4 days, 26th – 29th of October.

I'm unable to attend cos of work and personal travels and I'm sure many who would love to attend will also have similar excuses not to be at the Fashion week. So I thought to share daily a few of my favorite looks from designer's collection showcase starting from yesterday's show.

For the opening yesterday, there were lots of designers who showcased impressive new collections. Designers like: Belois Couture, Wagner Ayu, Titi Bello, Style Temple, Latasha Ngwube of About That Curvy Life Collective collaborated with Ma Bello Clothiers, Tobi Ogundipe, Assian, Aisha Abu-BakR, Makioba presenting collections for pluz size ladies in different styles and so many more other inspiring designers...

Belois Couture and Wanger Ayu opened the show with a collection of chic, flirty, artsy, and modern pieces with lots of color burst, and thrilling performance to arouse the crowd. Tokyo James, who has made his rounds at South African Menswear Week and Glitz Africa Fashion was also on the runway yesterday.

Style Temple, DZYN, and Onalaja was clearly the best showcase of the night! The pieces off their collection were crafted in an exquisite manner, no single thing was out of place in their fabulous collection. Even people kept on applauding every single time a model came out in any of these designers pieces.
