In simple words, fashion takes our attention away from ourselves. Style brings our attention directly to ourselves
Style is a way to make closer your relationship to yourself, as it's focus and orientation is on the self and how it’s informed and expressed by clothing choices (he added).
Reputation/Branding, he said;
Building a great self-brand or reputation is key to knowing how much influence you’ll have in any setting. Guard your reputation above everything else, because once it’s tainted, it’s very hard to change people’s view of who you are.
Clothing Sense
What you wear is what will kick-start the impression you make on others before you even open your mouth. It does make up over 70% of your first impression and it is the place from which people will filter everything you say and do.
There is a “language” that is spoken through specific types of clothing, that you must become familiar with in order to make a more positive influence than a negative one.
The messages we get across to other people has very little to do with the words that we use. But more of our non-verbal communication like clothes we wear.
