Mayorkun Buys Out An Entire Cinema To See Chigul’s Movie And It Has Got People Talking

Mayorkun has contributed his part to the success of Chigul’s latest movie Banana Island Ghost, but the HKN artiste seemingly went about it the wrong way.

Writing on his Instagram yesterday, the singer revealed that he rented out an Owerri cinema just to watch the movie which premiered nationwide days ago.

Banana Island Ghost was one of the most-anticipated Nollywood movie of the year. Boasting of top acts which include Ali Nuhu, Lala Akindoju and Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah.

And Mayorkun, who teamed up with Phyno for a soundtrack for the movie, bought the entire seats in an Owerri cinema, to show support he says.

Pleased by their performances, the singer encouraged his followers to go see the movie. “It is such a great movie,” said the singer, earning him a vote of thanks from actor Akah Nnani, who plays the role of sergeant in the movie.
