After a long day of being in the hot sun or sitting at the office with the Air-con on full blast, your skin might be feeling extremely thirsty.

Shed off your dry or weak skin layer with these 3 easy DIY recipes with ingredients you can grab straight from your kitchen!



DIY BATH Brown Sugar & Lemon Body Scrub


Ingredients:

▶️ 1/2 cup brown sugar (or white sugar if that's what you have)

▶️ 1/2 cup salt

▶️ 1 Tablespoon Kalamansi or Lemon

▶️ 1 Tablespoon Virgin Coconut Oil

▶️ 1 Tablespoon Honey

Procedure:

Mix together the brown sugar and salt. Then add in the kalamansi or lemon juice, virgin coconut oil and honey and mix well.

DIY BATH Oatmeal & Brown Sugar Body Scrub


Ingredients:

▶️ 3/4 cup brown sugar

▶️ 1/2 cup ground oatmeal - Not the instant kind

▶️ 1/4 cup pure honey

▶️ 3/4 to 1 cup of oil - Example: Extra virgin olive, Jojoba, Grapeseed or Sweet Almond oil

▶️ 1/4 teaspoonx Essential or Fragrance oil of choice (like vanilla) - Optional



Procedure:

Mix the brown sugar and oatmeal together in a large bowl. Add the honey and drizzle the oil over the mix. Mix everything together. When your mix is saturated and sinks to the bottom of the bowl and you have oil on top, you're done. Add your essential oil or fragrance oil if you would like.

DIY BATH Coffee Body Scrub


Ingredients:

▶️ 1 cup gluten free oatmeal

▶️ 1/2 cup organic sugar

▶️ 1/2 cup organic coffee grounds - Brewed or fresh

▶️ 1/2 cup raw honey

Procedure:

Place oats in a food processor together with organic coffee grounds and mix until fine. Add sugar and vitamin C crystals, and mix a few times, then add honey and oil, as well as vitamin D drops, and mix to form a paste. Transfer to a jar and store in the refrigerator. If you'd like, you can scoop out a small amount and keep in the bath, whatever you'll use that week.
