Evereything You Need To Know About New ‘Moments’ Co-Host Vimbai Mitinhiri

Ebony Life TV show Moments just went International as it added  Zimbabwean Vimbai Mutinhiri, who has come a long way from being a model to a Big Brother Afica Season 6 housemate, and the a media personality.

Vimbai has shown that she is resilient and and is willing to work hard to get to the top. So what do we know about this Zimbawean beauty?

These 8 fun facts about Vimbai you did not know.

1. Vimbai Mutinhiri was born 18 February 1987.

2. Vimbai is the youngest of four children of Ambrose Mutinhiri and Tracy Mutinhiri, both of whom are Zimbabwean cabinet minister.

3. She attended at St Edward’s School, Oxford and Arundel School in Harare, graduating in 2000 and 2002 respectively. She then studied Social Sciences at the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree.

4.Vimbai started her career at the age of 15 years as an actress in Zimbabwe, in a short film titled Who’s In Charge, with the movie featuring at the Zimbabwe International Film Festival. She went on to play a lead role in Zimbabwe’s first soap opera titled Studio 263. While studying at the University of Cape Town, she continued modeling.

5. In 2011, Vimbai took part in Big Brother Africa season 6 (Amplified). She was the 16th housemate to be evicted at Day 84.

6. She has gone on to host major African events, notably the first ever Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) broadcast live to 54 countries from Lagos, Nigeria. After Big Brother she co-hosted the African Magic entertainment’s lifestyle and entertainment show Star Gist. And recently she became a co-presenter in the show Moments, replacing Toke Makinwa.

 

7. She was an ambassador for Face of Castle Milk Stout (Cameroon), she has also been on the runway at the South African Fashion Week and the Zimbabwe Fashion Week.

8. Vimbai says she is a lover of fitted dresses.
