Afrobeats artist Mr Eazi, gave us a major men style inspiration in this Highsnobiety editorial shoot which was photographed by Amarachi Nwosu.

During his interview with Highsnobiety, Mr Eazi talked about his Afrobeat music career, preparation for the “Life is Eazi”  tour and deal with Starboy Worldwide (the imprint label of Nigerian recording artist, Wizkid)

“There’s always been interest in Afrobeats, it was just about the loudness of the interest,” says Mr Eazi.

Born and raised in Port-Harcourt, Mr Eazi's raggae background infused an appreciation of the sonic connections between Africa and the Caribbean, and also did little to cement his desire to make music. Speaking on this, he says: “My dad playing Bob Marley was my first interaction with music,”

For the editorial, Mr Eazi, styled by Prince Aday, poses in pieces from adidas NYC, Chulaap, Dent de Man, Abasi Rosborough, Topshop and Urban Outfitters.

We especially love his look in this Ankara overall with his signature straw hat style and the purple Ankara trench coat with leaf motif.
