Cuffing Rules!!
Yes, there are dos' and dont's to cuffing our jeans. Nothing serious or tedious but it's however a trend to be taken with caution so as not to look sloppy and drab.
The cuff style has been around for as long as jeans have existed. I remember cuffing my jeans since I was little, which I know so many of us also did - but who would have thought this style would become a fashion statement talkless of it having rules?
It is obvious now that this style is timeless and will continue to be rocked any day or anywhere without you looking out of place.
There are different rules of cuffing. Picking the right type of style goes a long way in determining the kind of look you are gunning for. Cuffed jeans are a simple and fast way to make yourself look stylish and you can do this by even changing an old or plain pair of jeans entirely without spending anything.
When cuffing, we have the single cuff and the double cuff which could be thin or large, with the type of cuff identified, now we have to move to the rules of cuffing your jeans
• Cuff skinny jeans with a single roll to give a sleek look, but note that cuffing should not be done on a really tight skinny jean
• Do not cuff with boot cut jeans. It's really wrong and bad for your overall appearance • Always end your cuff at the top of your footwear, whether boots, sneakers or heels, keep it above it.
• When cuffing your jeans, whatever footwear you decide to rock will be important because they will be visible and more obvious so go with popping colors or unique designs.
• Single roll gives that casual laid back look while double roll gives that sleek and elegant look.
