This Lady Went To Prom With Harvard Admission Letter After She Could Not Find A Date & It’s Amusing

17-year-old, Priscilla Samey attended her high school prom in Minnesota alongside her Harvard admission letter after she could not find a man to take her.

It was Samey’s sister who first suggested the idea of taking her Harvard acceptance letter instead of one of her classmates.

 Deciding to “stick to her roots”, the top student – who was also offered places at Yale, Princeton, University of Pennsylvania, Cornell, Columbia and Brown – took her sister’s advice, according to Mic.

Speaking to Mic, the teen explains that her classmates’ reactions were overwhelmingly positive. She says:

 

“They all thought it was so funny and cute. I didn’t get any negative feedback like I thought I would and they all were very proud and supportive.”

 

As she jokes, her date was so “low maintenance” that she didn’t even have to pay for its dinner.

Samey goes on to explain that she also saved money on her dress which was made by a family friend as an homage to her African culture. And I think we can all agree the pair look pretty stunning togethe
