Tinie Tempah launches menswear brand; What We Wear and the debut collection is impressive!
We all know this brilliant rapper is also famous in the fashion world right? If you don't, then let me give you a hint. An OG ambassador for London Fashion Week Men’s, and one of Britain's best-dressed men, Tinie Tempah has got a serious eye for style and puts extra care in what he wears. He is also a men's wear designer, and one of GQ's leading man in terms of style.
However, now he’s taking on a new task: translating his personal style into a menswear line. The Nigerian and super stylish rapper recently launched his debut menswear line - "What We Wear" at the London Fashion Week Men's (Menswear Week) which opened on the 6th and ended yesterday 9th January 2017 where he showed stylish looks from the collection in soft tones, dapper details and impressive silhouette.
Looking through the collection, one would say, Tinie has taken the sporty and contemporary leisure thread that’s currently running through menswear.
The collection which is born out of a controlled palette of navy, black, grey and white, majorly features track sets with lush drawstring waists detail, baseball shorts accented with soft pleats and piping with matching and mismatching shirts.
However, as with Tinie’s personal style, what sets these items apart are the details: The fabric, colour, texture and silhouette on the pieces were perfection with the brand's soft artsy 3-W zigzag logo instantly transforming each piece into a stylish work.
What We Wear is set to launch in April with pieces set at retail price points of £65 to £400.
