The late ex-New Castle player, Cheick Tiote seemed happy as he swapped messages with his friend Yusuf Abubakar Tumi before his death.
He inquired about his pal’s health with the duo laughing together over Tiote’s demand for some free watches.
Hours later, it was announced the Beijing Enterprises midfielder had died after he collapsed during training.

The conversation was posted on Twitter by Tumi, who is a verified user.
The screen shots have since gone viral on Twitter just like the video of Tiote’s stunning equalizer for New Castle against Arsenal.
Tiotéwas an Ivorian footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He played in Europe for Dutch team FC Twente and English club Newcastle United before moving to China to represent Beijing Enterprises. He won the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast national team. On June 5th 2017, Tioté suffered a cardiac arrest and died during training in Beijing.
