Nigeria began their quest to be at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, with a 2-0 defeat to South Africa, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday.
The Super Eagles have missed the last two edition of the tournament and were looking for a fine start to their qualifying game, so they can feature in Cameroon in 2019.
However, Gernot Rohr’s men failed to capitalize on their first-half domination of the game, with Bafana Bafana hitting the post following a defensive mix-up.
In their usual fashion, Nigerians have taken to social media to bare their thoughts on the Nigeria vs South Africa game that ended 0-2 in favour of the South Africans.
