Oge Okoye is a talented and versatile Nollywood actress who is one of the few actresses that loves to keep her life away from the eyes of the public.

Early Life

Oge, who was born on the 16th November 1980 in London to the Late Mazi Okoye and Lolo Okoye  is a native of Nnewi in Anambra State. She attended Holy Rosary College, Enugu and later graduated from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka with a degree in Theatre Arts.

Career

Oge Okoye’s first shot at the home video was in the commercially successful comedy ‘One Dollar’ starring Patience Ozokwo and Victor Osuagwu. Though she played a supporting role, she drew attention to herself with her smooth interpretation and showed a lot of promise. After that outing in ‘One Dollar’, producers sought and engaged her and today, she has featured in over 50 movies with a dozen others at various stages of post production.

Relationship

She got married to Stanley Duru in 2005 and they have two kids together but the marriage packed up in 2012 due to infidelity allegations.

Controversies

Oge Okoye was in the news  for using the picture of some dogs owned by Kenya Moore on Instagram, and calling them hers.

Awards

In 2015, she won City People Entertainment Award for Best Actress of the Year (English)

Endorsements

In 2016, the mother of two signed an endorsement deal with  Numatville Mega City National Unity Ambassadors.
