Sunglasses and their lenses tend to get dirty with your skin oils, sweat, environmental dirt, and your fingers which can lead to easy wear and scratches in the lens if not cleaned properly.
So here are few ways of properly cleaning your sunglasses.
▪️ Place them under running water.
▪️ Put a drop of normal washing gel or cream on the lens as well as the handles and then rinse it properly.
▪️ Let the water run through them and do not try to use your hands on the lens while you rinse.
▪️ Afterwards, dry it with a lint free cloth. There are special cloth pieces available at all optical shops, so getting the right one is what you should do.
There are also few of the most commonly practiced ways of cleaning sunglasses which should be avoided. Using your breath as a cleaning mechanism just isn't right. It only smears the dust on the lens. Your shirt is not the right kind of cloth to use on the lens. Chances are you will end up scratching them.
