The 2017 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) which held last night 4th March 2017, saw the best of the best in the African film industry.
Funke Akindele has won best actress in a comedy at the event for the third time making her the first actress in the five-year history of the award to win the category three times.
The talented actress who also won for best television series for creating the commercially successful Jenifa’s Diary picked up her plaque and gave an amazing acceptance speech switching to her comic role, Jenifa.
