The 2nd night of the #HeinekenLFDW2016 started off with an eccentric and sophisticated air. Fruche started off Lagos Fashion $ Design Week with the most fabulous monochome looks emphasized with sequin details.
His collection had an alluring and sophisticated feel to it and as a lover of monochrome hues, I was swept off my feet by the bold strategic and assymetric cutout details of each looks in his collection.
Other designers that dazed me and of course the audience at the #HeinekenLFDW Day2 was Kiki Kamanu who was clearly inspired by pop culture and American politics, reflective of today’s times, Deji Eniola who's collection was a well tailored fusion of menswear, androgynous womenswear and safari jackets in suit fabrics – which was something new, Gozel Green‘s colour palette collection, and so many other head-turning designer's collection on the runway.
