Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Falz has received a letter from the Lagos Internal Revenue Service(LIRS) to come and pay his personal income tax for 2017.
The rapper who hosted a succesful concert last december, took to his snapchat to share a picture of the letter.
He wrote in the caption;
LIRS won’t let someone even start the year well before sending letter!! Na wa o
Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) is the revenue collecting arm of the Lagos State Government saddled with the responsibility of collecting taxes and other revenues. The main aim of the LIRS is to make Lagos State less dependent on allocations from the Federal Government by designing its tax collection .
