`1. Courtney Dike

She is a Nigerian female footballer who plays as a forward. Courtney was eligible to play for the Nigeria women’s national football team through her parents, who are Nigerians.

Courtney went on to represent Nigeria at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada. On 12 June 2015, she made history by becoming the first native Oklahoman to ever play in the World Cup after coming on for Asisat Oshoala in a match against Australia.

2. Cynthia Uwak

 

Uwak is a Nigerian football striker who currently plays for Åland United in the Naisten Liiga in Finland.

She is also a member of the Nigeria national football team. Uwak competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

She missed out on the squad for the 2010 African Women’s Championship in South Africa following an injury.

3. Francisca Ordega

 

Francisca Ordega is a Nigerian professional soccer player who also plays for Washington Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League. She represented Nigeria women’s national football team (Super Falcons) at both the FIFA Women’s World Cup and African Women’s Championship.

4. Onome Ebi

 

Onome Ebi is a Nigerian football defender currently playing for FC Minsk in the Belarusian Premier League and the Nigerian national team.

She played for Bayelsa Queens FC in the Nigerian Women’s Championship before moving to Piteå IF and Djurgårdens IF in Sweden’s Damallsvenskan.

5. Asisat Oshoala

Asisat is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays for Chinese side Dalian Quanjian F.C. in the Chinese Women’s Super League as a forward. She was named best player and was the highest goal scorer at the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. She was also named best player and second top goalscorer with the Super Falcons team who won the 2014 African Women’s Championship.

 

6. Ngozi Ebere

 

Ngozi Ebere  is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a defender for Paris Saint-Germain in the Division 1 Féminine, and internationally for the Nigeria women’s national football team. She was a member of the Rivers Angels who won the Nigerian domestic double in 2014, and the Nigerian national women’s team who won the 2014 African Women’s Championship.
