Drake hosted Monday’s first NBA Awards, and he rolled up to the event with a rising star in the NBA media. Warriors sideline reporter Ros Gold-Onwude was Drake’s date for the event, and they hit the red carpet together at Pier 36 in New York.
Drake and Gold-Onwude are close friends, and while Drake once asked her out on a date during an interview, they’ve bonded over their passion for basketball. .
What is there to say about the duo’s relationship status? As of now, not a whole lot, but it’s safe to say the hip-hop heavyweight started crushing on Ros almost two years ago when he shared her picture on Instagram.
Rosalyn first made appearance on Drake’s Instagram in 2015, after his home team (the Toronto Raptors) lost to the Golden State Warriors. Rosalyn was the broadcaster for the game, and after it ended, posed with Drake for a photo which the rapper quickly shared on his Instagram.
“When the post game makes you forget about what happened during the actual game,” he captioned the photo.
n 2016, Rosalyn and Jidenna stirred relationship rumours after they attended the BET Awards together, but that quickly fizzled out.
Until last night, when Drake and the reporter made their debut on the red carpet, triggering another bout of relationship rumours.
