Olanrewaju Adeloye is a Nigerian who lost his baby cousin due to negligence and decided to make a difference by creating SaferMom.
Olanrewaju’s SaferMom is a platform that helps mothers, irrespective of their social status or geographic location, to ask, share and connect with other experienced mothers and verified doctors.
The best thing about the app is that irrespective of the user’s type of phone, access to internet, language or location, the content is easily accessible. The content is also available in English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo.
In 2016, Olanrewaju was one of the three Nigerians awarded the Queen’s ‘Young Leaders Award’ – an award that recognizes exceptional millennials who are taking the lead in their communities and using their skills to transform lives.
