Today, we celebrate African creation which is the Aso Ebi. I got a call and also saw another surprise proposal of an aunt on Facebook and the fist thing that jumped to my mind was Aso ebi, not long after another called concerning picking material and I was like sure, but with another thought of these *debt* climbing my head little by little.

But despite debt creeping in little by little, that's the whole fun and stressful part of it. We all go to weddings every Saturday, we all go to slay, some of us go for the food and gift though *guilty cough* but in the end we all make it through, we as guest make the wedding celebration what it.

Despite the stress of picking the materials, buying one for your self and family if necessary, getting the right tailor not screw it up for you, the travels if the ceremony is outside your territory and countless other stuff, we still turn up in our Aso Ebi with bright smiles, no Saturday goes by without our signature look which has become uniquely us as Africans and to be more specific us as Nigerians.

So this is in celebration of who we are, a celebration and symbolisation of that which has made our weddings, naming ceremonies and even dedications uniquely recognised all over the world, a celebration of the ASO EBI.
