The Nigerian professional footballer, Mikel Obi who picked an abdominal strain at his club, Tianjin Teda, just underwent a surgery in England to repair the strain that made him miss three games for the Tianjin Tigers.
The 30-year-old took to his Instagram to announce that the surgery has been done and it was successful.

The Midfielder flew to London where he had the surgery following a lingering abdominal strain that kept him out of three consecutive Chinese Super League matches for Tianjin Teda FC.
He was initially ruled out for three weeks after news of the injury emerged, but after the surgery, no return date has been set.
